720p is the highlight, best used in pitch black room only
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Note: This is for the C80 model, it does not apply to other projectors that may be listed here. What I Like:- REAL 720p for under a hundred bucks!- HDMI input- Decent enough built in speaker (no bass though)- Good colour reproduction- Overall acceptable build qualityWhat I don't like:- Fan is kinda loud- Only usable in a pitch black roomConclusion: I was attracted to this projector because it is 720p resolution and no other cheap projector I found offers that (they're mostly fake spec, actually 480p). Build quality on this one is the same as other budget projectors I have used, made from plastic but pretty solid. Brightness is about the same too. The real stand out feature is the higher resolution. It makes a big difference compared to other budget projectors, more than I expected. Picture quality is overall quite good once it is adjusted. Out of the box the colours are too saturated and lose detail, but it can be tuned to look quite decent, so long as the room is pitch black. Ambient light will make the projector too dim.I added a video to show the difference between ambient light and dark room, it's pretty significant. I also added some samples of videos I watched using it.This projector, of course, can't hold up to mainstream brands like Epson or Optima because those ones are significantly brighter (you can use them in daylight) whereas this one is limited to, more or less, a pitch black room. If you're going to be using it as a daily driver projector, I would recommend going with one of those instead. This is best for the occasional movie night with friends or for kids or when camping or something. To meet the low price, the projector does lose some features: for example there's no wifi, the legs don't adjust and settings are basic. If you're gonna put it on a table I recommend a small tripod because there's a tripod screw otherwise it can be a bit tough to focus. It can play media files off of a usb though (so long as they're 1080p or less, you can only do 4K media with an external device through the HDMI). The biggest downside I found is that the fan is kind of loud. Headphones or good speakers will cover it up, but it's pushing the max I consider acceptable as you'll hear it in quiet parts of the movies. There is a built in speaker that gets pretty clear and is decent for dialogue, but there's basically no bass. I recommend using an external speaker instead to drown out the fan.Overall, the picture quality is the highlight feature of this projector and if you're comparing this to other projectors in the under one hundred price range I think this is the one to get. Grab yourself a separate Android TV box and use that to get the smart features that are missing from this. I'm pretty impressed for the price and aside from the fan noise I think it's a decent starter projector for someone who does occasional movie nights and has a pitch black room. Of course mainstream brands are better, but they're also 4 - 20x the cost, so as long as your expectations are reasonable you'll be happy enough with the results.

Great little projector for playing games
This is a nifty little video projector that can be wall/ceiling mounted, supports front/rear projection, and can project a 702P (1280*720) HD image up to 180 inches. The 4" TFT LCD panel combined with the 2400 lumen light is more than enough to project a nice, crisp image when watching movies. The first thing I did was connect my MacBook Pro to the projector and fire up Plex. A few minutes later I had Star Wars: The Last Jedi playing on an improvised wall setup. The results were far better than I expected. So good, in fact, that my son and I suddenly stopped playing with the projector and started watching the movie. That says a lot. The projector is relatively small and comes with support for HDMI, VGA, and USB. There's also a 3.5mm audio port for those who need it. Wireless streaming to the projector can be accomplished via a Roku or Amazon Fire Stick. I was able to test the former with the projector and had no problems streaming video from my phone. Finally, there's no need to worry about overheating or excessive fan noise. Yes, the projector does get warm, but it never got hot and I never once noticed the fans kicking in. Overall, I'm happy with this little projector, especially considering what I paid for it.

Warranty is as worthless as the product
Edit. Failed on second use, just before trip we wanted to use it on. Both Amazon and email support from Erisan is terrible, going silent after an initial email. .We originally bought this projector for tracing artwork stencils. There are many projectors in this price group but we were attracted to the clean appearance and the many input types of this projector. After our art project was complete, we tested the printer as a fun outdoor theater and camping projector by putting our movies on a USB stick. In spite of the many warnings, we found that the projector was plenty bright in a dimly lit room or dusk outdoor scene. The 720P resolution was very good projecting onto a 6 foot screen, but we had to re-convert our mp4 files from AC3 audio to MP3 audio, one of the supported types listed on the Amazon page. This is easy to do using Handbrake and not much of a hassle for the occasional party movie for the kids. The sound from the printer is adequate, but we used some powered PC speakers for more outdoor volume. Some of the problems we had with this printer are as follows:1. The power cord is very short, maybe 4 feet long, so you always need an extension cord available for most uses.2. The remote is the only way to access the UI. We used some velcro tape to mount the remote to the top so we could always access it and not lose it. You will need 2 AAA batteries for the remote when you receive the projector.Overall, we would recommend this printer for any art or casual party projection use.

Decent 720p projector
This is a updated review on the C80, at first I wasn't sure if I would keep the projector or not due to the blurriness I was experiencing it seemed like it would not focus. Keep in mind this is a cheap projector so If you try using this for anything other than watching movies your experience with it is not going to be great, text in web browsers were very blurry and would not focus in and desktop icons were blurry, but when I started a movie up everything became a lot more clear and the blurriness went away. I only purchased this for movies so no big deal I was only concerned at first because of the lack of focus It had and if it would affect the movie quality which it did not. My only complaint would be the signal receiver for the remote is located in the back side of the projector and the remote does not have much range to it at all you have to be no more than a few inches away and walk to the back of the projector for the remote to work.
