...the chain that came included is fairly lightweight. It's the one in the top of the pic. The chain that I've had for twenty years is below. As you can see there is a considerable difference. The chain that comes with the belt looks a lot heavier than it is. That one will be good for my pocket watch. If I wore jewelry either of the lighter weight ones would be great around the neck or wrist. I'm going to hang onto it though it won't replace my regular one. That holds my keys, wallet, and public transit card holder.One more thing...the rings are hard to open. It took two pairs of pliers to open and close.

Since it is men's and women's (and I didn't consider this when I bought it), the belt was actually quite long. It wraps another halfway to my back sometimes depending on the waistline of my pants. I bought a medium and my waist is 29.5, hips 39.5.

I love this belt, I find it quite sturdy and I wear it almost everyday.I did read some reviews on the chain breaking, but I haven't had a problem with it and I've had it for a while now. Maybe just be gentle with it.

This is LONG. It goes round me nearly twice. I like it because the grommets can be used to hang a small wallet along with my chains so nothing to carry or keep track of at a rambunctious concert. But I had to get extra fasteners to keep the loooooooooong end from tripping me as I walked, danced, or moshed. It's hilarious. It's not the most sturdy thing, the buckle is pretty cheaply made, but it has not been a problem yet.

This belt looks great, is lightweight and made well. But I am not sure it will last. We’ll see.

I have been using it almost every day since it arrived, it goes well with literally anything I wear. It's stylish, the material seems to be super high quality and the detachable chain is very easy to play around with. One of the best purchases I have made this year.
